About Door Creek Dental

Donna

"During my many years as a Dental Assistant I always try to make patients feel comfortable about dental work. Door Creek Dental seems to always make both staff and patients feel like family. In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, golfing, fishing, biking, curling and spending time with family and friends."

"My priority working here at Door Creek Dental is to provide the best dental care possible to all of our patients. I’ve been in Dentistry for over a decade, graduating as a Dentist in my country, Peru. What I love is that you combine the biological sciences with the arts to make every smile as most perfect cosmetically and functionally. I personally commit to give the best of my knowledge and experience in every visit."

Kayla

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the many years that I have worked at Door Creek Dental. I began by training on the job, and have acquired many skills that have helped me to become an experienced assistant. The doctors are very supportive and offer many opportunities for continuing education. I have attended several CE courses, including two out of state, one in Chicago and one in Kentucky. I also had the pleasure of attending the Chicago Midwinter Meeting which is one of the largest trade shows in the US. This has allowed me to expand my knowledge of dental products, equipment, and specialized treatment for patients. Technology has become a large part of our industry and I am thankful that we continue to update and implement new products so we can provide our patients with the best quality of care. I enjoy assisting because it allows me to get to know our patients and help to make their appointment the best that it can be!

Outside of work, my husband and I keep busy with our three children. We enjoy many outdoor activities like boating, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, and spending time at the cottage up north. I currently work part-time, so I am able to be the room parent for two of my kids classes as well as a girl scout troop parent co-leader. I am fortunate for the flexibility that Door Creek Dental has provided so that I can proudly split my time between my family and my career."

Nina

"I have been with the Door Creek Dental family for many years and feel fortunate to be part of such a great team. The Doctors are constantly looking for new ways to improve and update procedures and technology. They encourage continuing education with their staff and themselves so we can contiue to give the quality care that is expected of us. I know that I will always put the patient first and try my best to keep them as comfortable as possible. It is the professional, friendly attitude of Dr. Kirkpatrick and Dr. Andersen along with their staff that keeps patients at ease, and makes their visit here a positive one."

"With only working at Door Creek Dental for a very short time, I’ve had the opportunity to become part of an unparalleled and hardworking team. My job as a dental assistant is to not only put patients at ease during their dental appointment but to give them the best quality care. I look forward to growing within the practice in the future, as I am currently going to school to pursue a career in dental hygiene. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with family and friends as well as exercising, throwing pottery, and traveling."
